Hello Astoria!

It's Thanksgiving week, and I'm so thankful to live in an amazing neighborhood filled with great people, great food, and a real sense of community.

Before the onslaught of Black Friday ads lure you in, take a look at the Shop Small Astoria Retail Crawl kicking off this week!

Astoria’s annual Shop Small Crawl is back with 27 participating stores! Starting November 23, you can pick up a Shop Small Passport at any participating business or download it online. Visit 8+ shops (with each store’s purchase minimum) to complete your passport, then drop it off at The Brass Owl by December 8 to redeem an exclusive Astoria tote bag or hat.

To wrap up the festivities, Chateau le Woof is hosting the official Wrap Party on Thursday, December 4 from 6–9 PM, featuring a live DJ and open bar, plus a chance to celebrate with neighbors and local shop owners while collecting your tote or hat.

Astoria Food Pantry is also doing a Toy Drive! Learn more about where to drop off gifts here.

Come to Astoria Bookshop for Small Business Saturday! We'll be hosting Noushi Pastry on the patio, stamping Astoria Retail Crawl passports, and donating 10% of sales to the food pantry.
