✨ This week in Astoria: Dec 8 - 14

ASTORIA LIVE | December 8th, 2025

Hello Astoria!

I hope you're staying warm today! We’re heading into the final week before things (hopefully?) start to quiet down for the holidays. Chanukah begins on the night of the 14th with a lighting at Athen's Square Park, and Christmas events are aplenty - with festive lights and parties around every turn. Just a couple weeks left of holiday cheer for the Bah Humbugs among us.

I'll be compiling a list of the best New Years events as well! Stay tuned!

If you're still looking for a gift for that special someone, or something to buy yourself (because you deserve a treat!), check out the gift guide of completely local ideas I put together. Then scroll on for the packed agenda for the week!

Cheers,

Stacey

You'll learn the energetic meanings and practical uses of easy-to-find potion ingredients (many can be found at the grocery store!) like herbs, oils and crystals. Then, we’ll make three potions together: a nourishing oil, a magical mist and a dry blend. Everyone will leave with three handmade potions and the confidence to continue making their own magic at home! Note - Fall Potions sold out quickly so snag your spot fast! $60

ASTORIA LIVE | January 12th, 2026 Hello Astoria, It’s been a week of headlines (honestly… when is it not?). In times like these, I believe connecting locally, in real life, with your community is the best way to cope and make the world a little bit better. I recently sent out a survey, and so far the feedback is clear. Your top interests are: Local events (of course) Clubs and communities to join Volunteer opportunities I’ve been building all of this into the new Astoria Live website I’m...
